Always thought the Mirage V with it's needle profile was cool so I decided to have a shot at Kinetic's offering. There have been pretty mixed reviews, some seem to think it's, um, not very good while others rave. Generally, I like it, despite a bit of fettling and needing to add a fuselage spreader (a length of sprue, to get a closer fit to the wings. No biggie. BUT, as the piccie will show there doesn't seem to be enough nose wheel door if you're a heretic like me an put an occasional aircraft onna stick with the wheels up. Maybe I'm missing something but the instructions show 3 bits of door and I put them on to find there's a noticeable gap. It would seem that the main door is short. Anyone else run into this? I can, I hope sort it with a bit of plastic sheet and filler. But fer crying out loud. Any one else find this. Or am I just being punished for heresy?
